Good Night, Tree Hill

Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want. Everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is gonna come from, the next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it’s right around the corner and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainity of it, you just might get the thing you’re wishing for. The world is full of magic, you just have to believe in it.

So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it, with all your heart.

The last few lines from the One Tree Hill series finale, originally a voiceover from season 5. Also my ultimate favorite OTH quote. Can I just say that there was no other way this series could have ended... it was just perfect. So many tearjerking moments, not because of the intense drama that the show has been known for, but because of all the memories the scenes came with. So much happy tears were shed while watching, and my heart was smiling the entire time.

One Tree Hill has been my favorite since it came out in 2003 (yes I was 11, so what. HAHA) and now that it has ended, it feels like I lost a best friend. It will be so weird now that after 9 years, I wouldn't be looking forward to a new OTH episode every week. Although I'm sure that every time I Don't Wanna Be by Gavin deGraw suddenly pops out of my iTunes I'm gonna be jumpy... :) speaking of which... that scene where Gavin sang I Don't Wanna Be at Tric and the main cast were in the audience singing along... oh dear I felt my heart cringe and I swear, one of the best Tree Hill moments EVER. Such a tearjerking moment.

Call me crazy but I'm having separation anxiety here, lol.

PS. I love how music-filled the episode was. I swear, OTH has one of the best soundtracks yet! I think I've built my iTunes library around it.

PPS. Good night, Tree Hill. You will be missed!
