Justin Bieber, You Have My Heart Too

Justin Bieber is so freaking cute! The 14-year-old inside me (I'm actually 17. What's 3 years? :-P) feels extremely kilig every time I watch this video:

One Time - Justin Bieber

How old is this kid anyway? Oh and I wish they chose a prettier/cuter girl for the video! Don't you think so, too?

I loooooooooove Justin Bieber's Aaron Carter vibe. :x

[edit @ 12:12am: I answered my own question. He's 15. And for those who are curious as well, he was born on March 1st, 1994. He's perfect for my 14-y/o alter ego! :-P]

Your world is my world
And my fight is your fight
My breath is your breath
And your heart
And girl you're my one love, my one heart
My one life for sure
Let me tell you one time
Girl I love, girl I love you
I'mma tell you one time
Girl I love, girl I love you

Ukraine's Got Talent, Indeed

I'm speechless. These kids are AMAZING. :-) plus they're extremely cute!

Vintage Finds Me

While my granma and I were looking for clothes to donate to the victims of the flood, we saw some funky finds I'd keep for myself! Now I think my closet's filled with half of stuff from my granma/mom and half of which are really mine.

I'm extremely happy that my granma kept all these clothes from before! Especially now that trends from the past decades have been coming back. :-)

Here are the stuff I got:
Black high-waisted pencil skirt, two printed skirts.
Checkered cover-up. I wonder where the other red button went. :-(
Red leather vest, printed dress (my granma said this used to be her favorite!)
"Elephant" pants, high-waisted black pants and corduroy pants
Floral dresses
Details of the dresses :-)
Kimono-top-like cover-up, soft blazer and boyfriend polo
Printed top, black jumpsuit
Velvet jacket which is similar to the jacket I wore to the CAO Awards 2009!

I'm sorry about the lighting in the pictures. As you all know, I got a new camera and I'm still learning how to tweak the settings... so yeah. The pictures here are "raw" but not raw files (they're jpg). Next time I guess I should do some post-processing. :-)

So there... good stuff, right? I can't wait to get to wear them. Vintage ♥! I'm sure these items would look better when worn. I'll just take pictures again next time :-)

My New Baby & Saving Lives

My mom and I will love you forever and ever, Jacob. Well, unless we upgrade. But we will forever remember you as our first. I hope you will enjoy your stay with us. :-)

HIHI :”>

PS. it's a Canon EOS 30D.

PPS. yes it’s Jacob because of Jacob Black. We were going for Taylor but our camera’s a guy (I just wanted it to be a guy) and people might say Taylor Swift or Momsen or whatever. We wanted Chuck as well, but I settled for Jacob. :))

PPPS. we really wanted the camera’s name to be named after me & my mom’s common crush. Channing was an option as well! & Justin (Timberlake). Hihi.

On another note, I am extremely happy that I was able to help save lives awhile ago. As all of you most probably know, the Philippines was hit by a tragedy just very recently. Almost the whole Metro Manila was submerged under water, some lost their houses and even their lives. It was a very awful weekend for us Filipinos, but it's great to know that in times like this, we all help one another to bring ourselves back up.

This afternoon, I went to Cainta along with a few members and alumni of LSDC-Jazz to help one of our members (Precious Valenzuela) whose family was greatly affected by the flood. Ate Pre and her family are currently evacuated to a Sogo hotel in Sta. Lucia (I know, Sogo. Funny but not this time. I must admit I did chuckle a bit at the thought). Never have I been this happy to clean out my closet and donate some of my clothes (some of which I still would like to wear). Never have I walked a long distance covered in mud and slipping at almost every block and have so much fun (what an adventure that was!). Never have I imagined myself to enter a place like Sogo! :)))))))))))

It feels so great to have made someone else happy. Mission for today: accomplished. :-) we love you, ate Pre. :-)

People of the world! We are still cleaning up the mess Ondoy has created. A lot of families don't have a home anymore, neither do they have anything else but themselves. If you're in the US, call the American Red Cross or something. If you're somewhere else, well I don't know what you can do, but I'm sure this tragedy has been all over the news and I hope your country's taking action. We need all the help we can get and we would appreciate it a lot if you do so. :-)

The September Issue = MUST WATCH!

The September Issue is definitely a must watch. :-D it makes me want to watch The Devil Wears Prada again (which I'll be doing so tomorrow. I don't have the dvd so I'm downloading it at the moment)!

Anna Wintour is beyond amazing. I don't think I would ever want to work for her, though. I remember in high school (the story was shared during the turnover ceremony and was published in the yearbook), it was prophesied that in 15 (now 14) years I would become the editor-in-chief of a successful fashion magazine. I'm not really leaning forward that path at the moment (I'm planning on pursuing photography), but who knows what will happen in the future, right? :-)

Who knows, I might be the next Anna Wintour ;-)

Remix 09 Semi-finals

Originally, the Remix 09 semi-finals was supposed to be the elimination round, where only 10 out of 15 groups would be chosen to move on to the final round. Unfortunately, 5 groups backed-out last minute which already left 10 groups vying for the championship title. Instead of having the eliminations on September 17, 2009, we have decided that the eliminations would be a semi-final round instead where their SF score would be 20% of their final score.

So, the semi-finals. September 16 and 17, 2009 were busy days for us members of LSDC. We had to set-up the stage, do some tech runs, etc. the night before the production itself.

During the day itself, I had to cut all my classes to run some errands for LSDC and help with the production. It really is stressful to be part of the production committee, but it feels so good in the end knowing that all your hard work has paid off. :-)

The show started at around 6:30pm. We were expecting a full house and that's what we got! I guess that was one of the major contributions to the success of the show: the great audience. :-)

I was assigned to the tech booth the whole show. I didn't know how to manage the controls at first and I was scared I might make a mistake and ruin the show. Fortunately for me, I didn't have a hard time in managing the sounds. Unfortunately though, there were some technical glitches due to a power failure. The sound board shut down in the middle of the show. :-( thank God we got kuya Dal (from HTG) as our host and he was able to run the show for about 20 minutes while we were attending to the sound board.

Remix dance battle turned into a beatbox thing for a few minutes ;-)

The show resumed 20-25 minutes after the glitch. We were worried that we'd have to suspend the show! Thank God we were able to fix it! Another worry we had was the time consumed. We thought we would go overtime but despite the failure and the long show, we even ended before schedule! :-)

After the 10 groups performed (2 of which did their routine twice because of the power failure), a dance battle was conducted to give the judges time to compute for the groups' scores.

Congratulations for winning the battle, Gio Gahol!

After the battle, representatives from each group were asked to go onstage to claim their certificates and the top three groups were announced. As this was not an elimination round, all 10 groups would still be competing against each other in the final round on October 8, 2009.

1st: ComONE Ground
2nd: New Breed
3rd: Z-Ave

The other crews:
Why So Serious
Team Elite
Skittlez Crew
(I don't have pictures of Hipnotics, Terpsychorean, Backstage and Project Mayhem)

Since the show ended early, we (LSDC) still had time to goof around before tearing down the set. :-)

Burst shots! :-D I'm somewhere in the back. You'd see my head popping out somewhere in some of the pictures. HAHA!

Congratulations to us, LSDC! And to all the groups as well. :-)

See you all in the finals on October 22!
