Spring Awakening

October 9, 2009
I watched Spring Awakening with my mom in the RCBC Theater. I don't really know how to write good reviews, so I'd rather not do it... all I can say is that I loved it! We were seated on the stage itself which had both its pros and cons. Pros: we were near the actors and that we could really see their expressions. Cons: we were seated on stage right, so we were watching from the side. There were some parts that we couldn't really see what was happening because the actors were blocking our view--we could only see their backs. :-( I enjoyed it nevertheless, I would love to watch it again (but next time hopefully from the front) :-)

I've had the whole soundtrack since I first heard it on 90210 last year, but I never got around to listening to the whole thing. I suppose the whole playlist would be on loop starting tomorrow! My favorite songs would have to be (based from what I heard earlier): The Bitch Of Living, My Junk and Totally Fucked (fun song!).

It's a good thing that we brought the slr even if we weren't allowed to take pictures inside the theater. We were able to take some before and after the show!

Free cake! :-)
The audience area during the intermission.
Buying a shirt and a button pin!

Me and Joaquin Valdez (who apparently I've had a crush on since I first saw him in Trumpets years ago!) who played Melchior in Spring Awakening. :-)
Some of the cast and friends.

What I'll be watching in December!
Fulfilling one of my childhood dreams: to become an elevator operator. :)) I wasn't that much of a big dreamer then, you see.
Late dinner at Tokyo Tokyo.
The souvenirs I got. Souvenir program, "I Believe" shirt and "Touch me" button pin. :-)

We've all got our junk, and my junk is you.

Hey Erika! Looks like you ran into my sister at the show. I told her to look out for you and your mom. :D
